This is one of three videos we produced for Diving Unlimited International. This is a short piece used by their retailers to attract scuba divers to attend their DOG Rally and Demo Tour event. It’s a pretty cool weekend when divers have the opportunity to check out and go diving with all sorts of DUI equipment, including several styles of their popular drysuits.
To produce this and the other two videos (a “Behind the Seams” look at building a DUI & a ‘how-to’ measuring video), we shot video on location at the DUI factory in San Diego, as well as diving locations in Texas and Ohio.
This is the first in a series of web videos for Milwaukee gourmet frozen pizza maker, Palermo’s. When they redesigned their site in early 2008, they decided to put a big emphasis on video content. Hi Def Pictures was contracted by Boost Media Entertainment to shoot & edit this and two other pieces, directed by Matt Mays. We spent four days on location shooting with the Panasonic HVX200. The video was edited in Final Cut Pro.
For this project we partnered with independent producer Nora Hiatt to produce three separate videos for AIT. This video is just one of the three. AIT uses the videos for sales & promotion.
Because of the large volume of work happening at the lab during the day, we had to do our video shoot in the evenings. It worked out great, as we were able to more or less have the run of the place. Our crew put in five long nights; and we came away with some great footage.
To celebrate the grand opening of their new building, Community Hospital North brought in an unusual acrobatic troupe called Bandaloop. They performed aerial dance on the side of the building. Hi Def Pictures was hire to produce a live three camera shoot of the event.
In 2007 Community Hospital North went through an incredible expansion. To celebrate the new construction, Hi Def Pictures was hired to create four Point of View video tours. This video features the new labor and delivery area.
The video was shot with our Sony Z1u mounted on a SteadiCam – expertly run by John Pinella.
